Judge Gary Mickel presides over civil mock trial for the Expert Witnessing class at the Bulloch County Courthouse.

Tax Research students attend U.S. Tax Court in Tampa, FL.

The Forensic Accounting Advisory Board has a midyear meeting in Atlanta.
August
Masters of Accountancy students enter into the Forensic Accounting Concentration. Sixteen (16) students have declared Fraud Examination as their undergraduate minor.
May
The 2nd Annual Fraud and Forensic Accounting Education Conference in Charleston, SC is attended by over 130 participants.
April
The IRS brings Project Adrian back to campus and a mock criminal grand jury is convened in Statesboro.
March
A one day (8 hour CPE) Construction Fraud Conference is held in Atlanta, and attended by over 40 participants
January
The Forensic Accounting Advisory Board is formed and has its inaugural meeting on campus.
January
Donna Harper (IRS) speaks on campus as the 2008 Distinguished Forensic Lecturer.

August The first twelve (12) Masters of Accountancy students enter into the Forensic Accounting Concentration. Ten (10) students have declared Fraud Examination as their undergraduate minor.

The 1st Annual Fraud and Forensic Accounting Education Conference in Savannah, GA is attended by over 210 participants.
